O papel da edição da Dark Horse parece ser offset e é mais grosso do que o tankobon da Panini.
O ponto positivo é que são bem mais leves. Diferente das outras duas edições, e isso pode interferir na visualização da arte. O fato de encadernação costurada ajuda na leitura, possibilitando abrir o mangá totalmente. A edição de luxo é enorme e tem acabamento impecável. É interessante comparar as edições em relação ao encadernamento, papel, tradução e, nesse caso, principalmente o tamanho. Recentemente a Dark Horse publicou uma edição, essa sim de luxo, de Berserk. Na época eu tinha a edição meio tanko de Berserk, que ganhei de um amigo, e a edição "de luxo" tankobon, também da Panini. Há algum tempo atrás, o publicou um post falando sobre ter diferentes edições da mesma obra. The graphic novel is currently available for pre-order with a price of $19.99.
Lastly, "Second Sunrise Over New Mombasa" - written by Brett Lewis with art by Moebius - relates the invasion of the Covenant from a civilian perspective (the first Halo comic story to use this perspective). "Armor Testing" - created by the team of Ed Lee, Andrew Robinson, and Jay Faerber - tells the story of the first person to test out the infamous MJOLNIR Mark VI armor, before it was given to Master Chief himself. "Breaking Quarantine" is written by Tsutomu Nihei, a mangaka who wrote Blame! and the comic series, Wolverine: Snikt! This story is about Sergeant Johnson escaping the Flood, in a manga-like style. This is the main story in the book, taking place during the previously mentioned very first game, Halo: Combat Evolved. This stories are as follows: "The Last Voyage of the Infinite Succor" is written by Lee Hammock with art by Simon Bisley. The very first comic for Halo franchise, titled Halo: The Graphic Novel which was first released in 2006 will be republish by Dark Horse Comics this coming August 2021 and will feature four stories that will expand the the deep lore of the Halo Franchise.
